a low density. Because of their origen they are classified into
two groups. natural and artificial |
Natural aggregates:
These aggregates
are generaly from volcanic nature. For example: Pumice, scoria, volcanicashes
and diatomite
Artificial aggregates:
There are many
commercial names and brands that offer artificial aggregates, but the
best classification is based in the raw materials used to elaborate them:
glas, wood, Polystyrene, aluminium, etc.
