7. THERMAL INSULATION

has low thermal conductivity values even in the higher density mixes. Depending on the mix, can have a thermal insulation coefficient AS LOW 0.11w/m2ºC. which is about ten times better than normal concrete. For the normal range of density for structural applications of , thermal conductivity is in the range of 0.19 to 0.33 w/m2ºC, which is about three times better than normal concrete. Normal concrete has a thermal conductivity value of 1.0 w/m2ºC. The "R" valve depends on the thickness of the element considerd.
